Dr. Richardson is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat physician) with a specialty in Laryngology. After finishing his training in Otolaryngology, he completed a year-long fellowship with Dr. Bastian at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, in 1996. Because of Dr. Richardson’s training, experience, and recognized abilities as a Laryngologist, Dr. Bastian invited him to join him as a colleague at Loyola University, and later to become a part of Bastian Voice Institute from its inception.

Dr. Richardson graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He then served two years of general surgery training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she completed 10 years of medical training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a co-author of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, has presented at more than 10 national meetings, and has been an invited speaker at dissection and national teaching courses.
